    468 for a 383; good deal?

So I'm selling my 468 short block ($2000) due to lack of funds, and a guy calls that's interested. It comes into the conversation that he was running a 383 and is looking for more power, and I'm looking for a small block to be more economical. We discuss a possible trade, my short block for his short block, intake, and maybe more. But I'm starting to think a fair trade would be the 383, whatever else, and maybe $800. Now I know I could be coming off as being greedy, but this BBC of mine was being built for the track, no spared expenses and no shortcuts taken. I've got almost $3000 into it. And plus, I have the reciepts and stuff to back up the BBC as legit, I don't know anything about his motor. Any suggestions or thoughts?
