Dual carb question
I'm working on my 1st carb motor (lots of lsx and ltx stuff in the past). Its a 498 with a 6/71 blower on top. I have Holley 950 blower specific carbs on it. I'm not sure if I hooked the linkage up correctly, because when I open the throttle one side of each carb opens then about 1/2 throttle the other side opens. At WOT both sets of butterflys are 100% open. So is the linkage right or do I need to adjust so both sides of the carbs open even?
Hope this makes it more clear
carb 1 0-0 (both open at any throttle) carb 2 0-0 (same as carb 1)
carb 1 0-0 (closed till 1/2 throttle) carb 2 0-0 (same as carb 1)

As Denny says that progressive linkeage but if you wanted to you can set up linkeage so both carbs work together, but you might not have enough engine for that.

The way I read your post, you're describing mechanical secondary carbs.
That's how they are ment to operate.
"when I open the throttle one side of *each* carb opens then about 1/2 throttle the other side opens"
Most blower linkage kits I've seen are one to one.
