i said that for what your doing it will not cost that much more for better parts but if your machine shop said that then do what they say:D i machine and build big blocks . what i say has no bearing on how they build or machine it .that way if it go.s south you can talk to them:) i sound like a smart a$$ ? but for a boat i think i would spend just a bit more for some better parts .i think going all forged parts will not be that much more. on a car street/strip or truck i would say cast parts would be ok but they will not see the load and even with a small blower it is not worth it. you will not have more then 1000. more in the build with no blower i would say you could go cast steel crank but i still would run forged pistonsQuote:
