My LS6 454 is just about broken in and it is time to change the oil and filter. What would you say is the BEST oil to run and who makes the BEST filter to use? I was considering running Royal Purple for oil, but I'm at a loss as to what is the BEST possible filter to run? My BBC is brand new which I personally bought back in 1971, but never used. It has had never been started before and I just had it professionally rebuilt, changed to a big hyd. roller cam, and had it run in/tuned on a dyno. I just want to do this oil change and filter the right way. Thanks!
