Well got most of the pistons in, broke #2 comp ring on the #6 piston in my cheap ass crapsman ring compressor. Call summit 17.00 bucks for a set for one hole.
All pistons in. Ordered the rings from summit friday @ 3 o'clock had them saturday around 3! next oil pump new pan, and button up bottom end.
Looking good. Remember there is no hurry when it comes to what your doin.
Lock tight, anti seize, sealer, break end fluid. Take your time.
Thanks! and no rush. Doing a LOT of reading, and rechecking. Just want to get bottom end buttoned up, because it will next year by the time its ready to fire. Nice look'in poncho you have! Had a 77 GP hopped up 350, miss that car.
I did a lot of research too. Hate to put something together and wonder what went wrong. Did this one around 3000 miles ago. Not a problem anywhere....just like it should be. Your car looks like it's gonna be hot.
Did you decide on a color for it?
Black on black, was butter nut yellow from factory.I will be happy to get it going been sitt'in over 20 years.
