with that marine cam use a set of pro magnum lifters or howards max effort #91112 there is no need to run roads with this cam. but do what you want
I'm sure you're correct Pat, I just wanted him to know that there is another way to get more manifold vacuum.
yep i know BUT they want him to run a stock GM cam with Gm part numbers so there a bigger marine cam 440hp cam and use the roads lifters this may work good but ? the smaller cam should be ok i would try both cams . has alot to do with what RPM he going to be at
do you have any more info on this 440hp marine cam, my guess is it would run a little higher rpms?
well how much RPM do you need were do you need for rpm ?the bigger cam i do not think it will make any vacuum sold lifter is the way i would go and you could play with the lash abit but the l88 cam is abit big with your low cr .the 440hp cam will need roads lifters not shure your going to pass tech with it and your cr is abit low for the cam OEM 41436 Eligin #e1117p 549/558@050..232/239..110 lc this cam i would use if you could get abit more cr would help more like cams i have used i the past
