I am knew here and asking a question for a friend who doesn't speak English. He is building a 2005 8.1 Liter Vortec 496. His oil pan is cracked badly and looking for a replacement but the part seems to be discontinued with all suppliers.

Will any other big block oil pan fit this engine?
