I have a 1967 camaro with the original 327/210hp engine , I was attempting to put on a new edelbrock air gap intake but the bottom of the intake hits a small can like piece at the back of the block on the drivers side of the engine which is bolted inside the valley that goes out the back to I guess what is called a road draft tube, from there that tube , or hose now goes into a pvc valve into my GM Performance valve covers...... My question is ....can i remove this can so the intake will fit and will I need to do any other mods so everything works properly.... The car has no emissions or anything else I need to worry about.

TIA
Jeff
