Nice looking 305. What intake manifold are you using and what have you done with the buildup?
The engine was out of a 1983 Z28 and headed for the scrap yard when i got hold of it (was told it had a knocking noise and might be a connecting rod)
I never heard the engine run and took a chance on it and was happy I did
The engine mods:
The engine was stripped to bare block
Block was acid dipped clean
Block was magnafluxed for cracks
Old freeze plugs removed and new brass plugs installed
Block was bored & honed .60 over
New KB hypereutectic flat top pistons & Moly chrome rings

The old rods was cleaned and inspected and new pistons was pressed on and then brought into weight of each other (Balanced)
New cam bearings installed
New cam & hydrolic lifters installed

I see 2 Doors in the front and 2 Doors in the back ....... :)
Finding a 2 door is hard to do and expensive.......
I don't have a problem with 4 doors. Impalas are 4 doors
2 door or 4 door
To me it did not matter either due to the extremely low price I paid for it :)
And the Ford Mustang owners dont care about the 2 door or 4 door either, all they care about is the tail lights of a Nova that wiped the asphalt up with them :) LOL
Many years ago I owned a 69 Nova 2 Door and have been kicking myself in the asphalt for selling it
A nice hood scoop and a paint job is in the near future
if I had a 4 door like that I'd keep it looking stock except for some flowmasters underneath and wide ass tires in the back
The first set of headers I ordered and installed were the wrong ones and I had to ding the pipes quite a bit to get them to fit around the stearing box :(
They were also hanging quite a bit lower and would scrape when going over speed bumps or ruts in the road
Doing some good internet detective work and a few hours later produced a set of dynomax blackjack headers that was carried in stock at a local auto parts store and a price of $97.97
The new headers has been installed with a new set of cherry bombs
When I went to do both axles with new shoes i discovered that all the wheel cylinders need replaced :(
Both axels now have new cylinders, shoes and the drums all turned (Its nice to work for a repair shop and can get parts cheaper and use the equipment free of charge)
In a couple weeks the old holly 4 bbl is going to be replaced with a new shiney Elderbrock 600 Cfm
The old holly will get a new power valve and a rebuilt kit (Again) and be put in a box to the side and used as a spare part if ever needed
Last Saturday I got a little help shining up my engine....
Really, I did..;)
