see, now in my opinion..if your gonna spend that kind of money on a 305 to make 334 CI.... you may as well buy a whole differant engine...just my opinion. actually 305s are over square anywaywith its small bore...than add even more stroke, not a great combo75 GMC C-15 factory 454, automatic, lowered

But theres just sumthing about small cubes and 8,000 rpm that sounds nice!!!..........This is my combo below I am shootin for this to pull to 6000 to 6500 ,hopefully it wont pop!!!Last edited by shawnlee28; 04-11-2005 at 11:39 PM.
Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

a 334 isnt a 8000 RPM engine...well I imagine it could be...but wouldnt be the best combo...to much valve shrouding with the small bore to work very well at high RPM75 GMC C-15 factory 454, automatic, lowered

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
