block coolant routes and plumbing
does anyone know of how the water routes its way throught the block and heads?
also my stock OEM intake has a port for a water temp probe or heater. since i made my mind on i wasent driving it at all during the winter i took a small peice of hose and connected it from the water fitting on the intake to the fitting on the water pump...am i doing something wrong

The pump draws from the bottom hose and pumps it into the block. It passes the cylinders, then goes up through the back of the head/block interface and forward through the heads to the thermostat housing, and the top hose. Your hose connection replacing the heater will work, but its not necessary, you can just plug the holes.
