SB 350 help
Hey Guys,
I got a new 350 engine in my pu. It was built in 1998 and I drove it about 500 miles and parked the truck.
I am not sure all the specs of the engine, but I am wanting to get started on the project again and what to start with a little engine boost. ( if ya know what I mean)
Edlebrock Intake
600 Holley
Stock heads (I guess) When the engine builder put it together for me he wanted to put some DART heads on it...for an extra $600.
I was broke and getting married so I had to pass.
Here is where I can not remember.....
It seems like he said flat Top pistons
and an "RV" cam? Does this sound correct?
I have no idea the specs of the cam and pistons other than what I listed above.
The exhaust = Stock.
I am thinking along the lines of a set of heads, headers + Exhaust, possibly a new intake and Carb, ( If needed )
The only thing is that I am sure that I would need to know the specs of the cam and pistons to understand the total package.
I really don't want to pull it all appart because it is brand new....
What type of performance could I expect?
Any suggestions?

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
