....and in bullhead, where i usually go, they offer 100 octane gas....so maybe i could run 11.5-1? and use some octane supreme 130...only octane booster ive found that works...whenever i go to another lake?
max hp i want is 450 REAL horsepower, at 500 my boat would hit 80 mph and the hull is extremely unsafe above 70.
ONE OF THE BIGEST PROBLEMS WITH BOATS IS TRYING TO (DOCK) THE BOAT. IF YOU HAVE MUCH MORE THAN SAY 1,000 R.P.M. IDLE SPEED THIS BECOMES RATHER DIFFICULT.I WOULD NOT MESS AROUND WITH ANY MORE THAN 10 TO 1 COMP. RATIO.I DON'T THINK IT IS WORTH IT.WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DECIDE TO GO A LAKE THAT DOES NOT HAVE THE HIGH OCTANE?IT REALLY LIMITS YOU.
