81 corvette engine (need opinions)

Agree leave it alone. If you want power sell what you got and buy something else.

In all honesty, the car will never really be worth much. I have 8k into now, and it is a nice looking car. The reason I bought it, is because I like the looks of the 80-82 vettes. I am a dealership tech, so it really isn't a big deal for me to do the engine work. The heads have the correct bolt holes, and the cam isn't really a big deal either. I just want to drive the car another year or so on the weekends, then sell it, but at the same time, I want to have some power. I forgot to mention that I removed the cat, and made it hollow, and reinstalled it for looks. I will post some picture of the car on here when I get time at work.
