Are you asking a question?"PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
"LIVE" your life like you could die tomorrow.

Large journal caps are a little taller and require a little longer stud. In 1968 the main bearing saddles were increased in size from 2.3" to 2.45", so if your block was manufactured before that, it's a small journal, after that it's a large journal.
Small journal cranks have a main diameter of 2.300" and a rod diameter of 2.000".
Large journal cranks have a main diameter of 2.450" and a rod diameter of 2.100".Last edited by techinspector1; 02-10-2006 at 09:18 PM.
