Hi Folks,
I'm just rebuilding a 350. I'm putting in Sealed Power pistons and rings. I unpacked the rings, and the oil control rings have little colored pieces of plastic stuck to them so you can't accidently overlap them. Do I take those plastic things off before installing the pistons? And the compression rings have colored ends. Do I take the color of them?
Second question: I'm going to use a CompCams Retro-Roller camshaft. It's second hand but as good as new. Do I need to use cam-lube oder something special on the lobes before installation?
