charger on a 350?
hey guys whats up? i got a 69 chevelle with a small block, i was considering building the bottom rock solid and putting a small charger on top ( a 174 i think ? about the same size as the ones on the ford lighting trucks ) but my question is, is this streetable? or am i waisting my time and money? i know, i know, just get a big block, but call me crazy i like the small blocks!
my second question is, how good do the heads have to be if you are forcing air into the engine, i realise that a bigger port is good for a naturally aspirated engine but what about a blower car? i am keeping this car a street car ( it ran 15 a second with a stock 350 ) i also have a m22 rock crusher 4 spd behind it and a 355 eaton posi 12 bolt with 10 inch tires. i am trying to get into the 12-13 second class can i do this by up-ing the compression and playing with intakes? or do u guysthink i need a power adder ? also not big on nitrous, ( trying to keep it old school - i love a blower whine!!) any comments thanks guys!!! cool website!! kenny
