this block good?
ok on the number 2 and 6 cylinders on my buddys 350 block there are pieces of the cylinder missing at the bottom of the bore (im assuming the rods knocked it out. now its nowhere near the rings so is this really a problem?
and will we have any problems if we wanna have it bored?
thanks guys

i woudlnt risk it, 350 blocks are common enough to be able to find a replacement easily. if you do decide to get it bored, have the machine shop magnaflux it first to see if its cracked or not, they should also be able to look at it and tell you if its safe to use.1957 Thunderbird

If it's below the ring travel of the piston, just the edge down at the bottom, probably not going to be a problem.. Bore it and run it.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Check your bearing alignment. A whack from the rods shedding can distort the block.
