rocker arm replacement
Hello, everybody! Glad to see that things are getting back to normal.
Anyway, I have got my vacuum issue pretty well under control now so my next issue is I want to replace my stock rockers with roller tip and was wondering if it would help my take-off from idle, which is a little sluggish,
if I went with 1.6 ratio as to 1.5's. That would change my lift from .420 to .448 on intake and from .442 to .471 on ehxaust. I have heard that it would make just a small change to the duration, but not so much that it would have a big effect. Anybody have any ideas if it would help pep up my take off from idle? Once I hit 1600-2000 rpm's response if very good, just a little doggy on take off. Gladly listen to anything you have to offer on this. Thanks everybody. BTW, advanced timing and went with ported vacuum and seems to be working decently.
The first model car I built was a 32 Ford roadster by Revell in the mid 50's.
How did you get hooked on cars?
