Has anyone used those E-Z change timing covers by Mr. Gasket. I've got one and it seems like a good idea but no matter how many times I seal it with RTV at the bottom it always leaks. It may just be bad design but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
Probably just something else that is made in China.
Theres 2 diff style gasketts for the front of the pan,1 thin and 1 thick .

Normal covers are one piece and you don't have to worry about a leak. It's kinda like they should have drilled and tapped the bottom too so it would hold pressure against the gasket on the bottom.
Has anybody else used these Chinese covers?
Had one like that years ago, it leaked so I chucked it. Then I cut the rear flange off the stock style one so it'd slip past the pan edge, and used lots of silicone. Worked perfect.
