Save Lots Of MONEY**)
Contact BDS (Blower Drive Service) and work with them on building your package.
Make sure that you can keep your compression at 8.5 to 1, so you will be looking at dish pistons, you will probably want to pre assemble everything before sending all parts away to be balanced**)
I am building up a 383 bown stroker, and the main issue I am finding is getting heads with a big enough chamber to keep the compression down. Looking at carving out the combustion chambers on some stock 76 cc heads to increase chamber capacity.
i have been looking into this also. so i need low compression. dont blower motors need a special cam also.
Yes. Most manufacturers have blower grinds. They have lobe centers of between 112-114 degrees so the amount of overlap is reduced to avoid bleeding off boost.
;) Here's a cam you may want to consider for your 383
 crane cams F - 278 -2 PART NO 99250-16 is a solid lifter cam that is good with blown motors, is a lot in a 350 but the 383 tames it down a bit.
Duration at .050 238 in / 248 ex 114 degrees lobe seperation, open close at 050 cam lift In 10 48 Ex 63 5, lift at valve In 480 / ex 500
Oh yeah run the h beam rods with this cam they just miss this cams cam lobes, What I did was look ahead because I may install a bigger cam so I ground the insides of the rods anyway before getting them balanced.
