Head bolts on Trickfow heads
Tried installing my new Trickflow heads last night and found that my socket would not fit in the bolt counter bores. The bolt heads are 5/8". My thinest 5/8 socket will not go in. Do new head bolts have 9/16 heads?
Yes, I am using the washers that came with the heads...what's going on?OlChvyRacr

My ARP bolts have 1/2" bolt heads. They are 12 Point. they also make a 6 point with 1/2" heads.

Thanks for the reply Mod.
Yeah I went to Santa Ana Speed and they fixed me up with
a set of ARP 6 point 1/2' ers that worked fine. Though it was kinda scary
torquing a 1/2 inch socket to 70 lbs.OlChvyRacr
The first model car I built was a 32 Ford roadster by Revell in the mid 50's.
How did you get hooked on cars?
