Replace the starter? Can it be damaged?
.....I'm using a starter that was on a car that sat outside for 12 years but it works. Is a starter either good or bad? or is there some in between to it. Meaning if this were YOUR car and YOU wanted it to be dependable would you replace the starter??? THANKS everyoneBill
ps, also if the altenator still charges but it also sat outside for 12 years would you change it??? ;0 Tk's.....

Under normal conditions they are exposed to the elements and my only concern would be if the alternator still spins freely.Ken Thomas

In our neighborhood, 2 blocks down the hill was a gas station that (to me) all the cool car guys hung out there. 32 coupes, 33 & 34 Fords as well, a sweet 56 Ford Beach wagon that was setup gasser...
