need help
just put a new motor in the camaro,it has a crane 292 cam 230 duration 465 lift single pattern , running a 3000 stall converter if i idle the car in gear under a 1000 it shakes and vibrates pretty bad, is this because of the 106 lobe sepperation, or should i look for something else,the timings set at 16btdc and 32 total at 250i can idle the car at 1200 in gear but i have 1500 in nuturalGLENN
you can do it if you know how it works

Depends on how you are planning to drive the car. That cam sounds real good for upper rpm use,but you'd be constantly battling it driving around town.Bet it sounds real mean sitting trying to idle though! Hank

Yea its a nasty cam real radicle idle, i drive it to and from shows what causes the car to feel like its shaking apart if the idles down to 1000 and in gear or is it just me. i bought the motor with the cam and didnt change anything, but it is nasty when you pull past 3000 rsGLENN
