Eng. numbers
I have a 1979 Jag with a 350 eng , auto.4bbl carb. The numbers on the back of the eng. are 3970010 and the number on the front pad are V05250NN .Would someone tell me what I've got or where to find the info

010 is a double nickle block, which means its the hardest one chevy has made. and its the most sot after block around. i had one given to me about a month ago.

Yeah and I've heard that all 010 are 4 bolt main blocks, WRONG, I've scene a few that were 2 bolts.Objects in the mirror are losing

start pulling 350's out of old boats. marine 350's were usually high nickel. most 350's are 2 bolt mains as far as i know.
Ditto on the model kits! My best were lost when the Hobby Shop burned under suspicious circumstances....
How did you get hooked on cars?
