cylinder 8 plug is gunked up
Dont know the year but its a early 80s sb350 mid to high build in a 87 jeep wrangler. it has a miss on the left bank changed plugs after I bought it and have 200 miles on them and the number 8 cylinder is gunked up and not firing any ideas?

its smells burnt and it isnt gas.
It is a thick gunk. All the other plugs are clean and firing good

There are a number of possibilities, cracked insulator on that plug, cracked or broken ring(s) in that hole, worn valve guides, and/or bad spark plug wire.Ken Thomas

My plug from cyl 8 was oiled something awful. It also smokes, I'm pretty sure my valve seals are gone. here is a picture of mine. Motor is a 267.
