I run ATI on all hi-dollar engines or the SFI approved Pro Products dampner on the low dollar builds.
Before any talks about the Pro Products being made in China I know but we are getting good main bearing life out of the I.M.C.A. mod engines.
I.M.O.,the Pro Products SFI approved is good enough for about 50% of all the street engines I build.
i have used them ..i like the power bond sfi just abit nicer but more money then the pro products i think
i know C.A.T make a fuild filled one to are you shure it was a true fuild damper the may not be the hot deal any more but never seen one leak
i agree with pat, never seen one leak, . come to think of it, how many times do balancers just break apart?????????
stock ones will break apart you do not want to be around when it happens. this happens with a stock iron one that someone beat to helll with a hammer or the ring comes off . i have seen fluid damper crack thru the key ways and seen them with the end of the crank nose still in the hubQuote:

Oh,it was a Fluidampner.
If you call tech. at their company they will even admit their balancer's have a service life.
oh they do :) they use to say they did. but better and cheaper ones have come out now .i did use them were just a good stock one would work maybe? but not sfi and needed to be . but the 454 stock ones were hard to find not all beat to hell with a hammer or rubber was comming out from the ring so i did use them but the ati is betterQuote:
