Need help with ID

327 block numbers 3782870 front of block FobI9HO ( the little b may be a 6 ). Heads are 194 double humb 8782461. I don't remember my early 327 stuff but it has a small harmonic balancer and the vent can in the valley. I think it is a 300HP Impala or Vette?. Are these worth anything to restorer or OK to use in a cheap Hot Rod?.......Thanks Jim

Probably but the problem is always finding the restorer who needs it for his "numbers correct" chebbie, then getting him to part with any money... As with many such parts to the right guy on the right day, it would be worth a few bucks.....

I looked up the code, and if it's a 327, it's a 1965 300 horse model that was hooked to a powerglide.

Should be 10.5 compression, with a mild hydraulic cam, and those heads are pretty good. They are large port like fuel injection heads, but with the slightly smaller valves....the biggest difference being the exhaust valve....but still good.
