I got a carborated SBC with an Edelbrock Performer Air Gap Intake. I'm trying to get my car ready for start up but I can't find what goes where on my intake. Any help or links would be appreciated.
I figured out where the carb and water neck go.....;).

big hole to the left and right of the water outlet is for the temp gauge. Use one for the temp gauge, can either plug the other, or use it for 1 of your heater hoses. On the back, the two larger holes on either side are for a water crossover, can be plugged, probably 3/8" pipe... Then it has two threaded holes for the distributor hold down(s), and a couple others for linkage brackets, etc. Just make sure you use the right threaded fittings, or you will have a bunch of extra work to do!!!!
Sean, don't forget the large hole behind the carb flange in the intake runner, you can use this for vacuum to the power brake booster if equipped, or, plug it too.
The large hole in the middle is for the Kuhneutson Valve. BTW, Kale auto has them on sale:

I thought the New Edelbrock Performer Air Gap Intakes had provisions for dual Kuhneutsons.
Are kuhneutsons very expensive?? Do you think I should get one or two??:D

No, by utilizing kehuniston valve/s the exhaust flow is altered in such a way as to eliminate the need for muffler bearings.Quote:

The port sits so high that it comes very close to the secondary accelerator pump on a Holley and you will probably end-up having to run at least a 1/2" carb spacer to give you enough room to get even a low-profile vacuum fitting in there if you need it for power brakes or trans modulator or some other vacuum accessory.
