A little more power out of my 350
I have a 1955 chevy step side truck. It has a 10 bolt rearend 343 gears a 700r4 trans. I think the torque converter is a 2900 stall my reciept say's b29 hs. The motor is a 350 4 bolt main 1 one peice rear 4088548 forged crank stock rods ARP bolts trw pistons 30 over. heads are stock 3927185 junk heads edelbrock performer intake and edel 600 cfm carb. I would like some more power out it its just a weekend driver it runs great but a hot rod should have a little more power i think. I do have some parts i have a rpm air gap manifold i have a set of comp 1.5 roller rockers and a edelbrock cam 7102 .488 intake .510 exh lift. from reading on here it sounds like heads would be the best thing i can do to it. 350 to 400 hp is what im looking for. any help would be graet
I did not know Mike very well, we exchanged some messages from time to time but from what I understand he was a very good man. I was sad to learn about this
