    Started work the 383

     



    installed cam and crank,was waiting on 4 pistons, jegs just got em to me saturday and i need to get em pressed on the rods here is a pic of the start.
    Eagle crank, billet rods, comp cams 305h cam. 10cc dome pistons, gear drive is probably gonna go. procomp 64 cc aluminum heads,210 cc runners and 1.6" exh. and 2.02" in. valves. Still deciding on intake, not gonna be much for street friendliness so probably a hi-rise single plane and a 850 double pumper. Ignition is still being researched at this time.
    Building a manual shift reverse vb thm 350 for it also.

    Looks almost too nice to race. (almost). I like the color. I would go with a black strip if you are going to do one. Better contrast, IMO.

    update

     



    well she is up and running now, made it to the track once, 11.385@118mph on the first pass......no roll cage or legal seat belts so they shut me down after that run. Woulda done better but i smoked em hittin 3rd. here is a vid of it shorly after cam break in.
    sorry bout the vid quality but the sound is there.
