Hi All,
I am new to this site and wanted to see what y'all have to offer. It looks impressive so here I go.
I searched this with no luck. I have a 67 327cid engine I am rebuilding. It will be .030 over with a retro hydraulic roller cam, about 212 @ .50" and .480 lift, appropriate timing chain, distributor gear and all other parts needed fot the retro cam. I have purchased the pistons. They are hypereutectic flat tops.
I bought a pair of new heads several years back and want to use them. They are Dart Eagle 165cc with 2.02 - 1.60 valves. I have gasket matched and mildly blended the bowles. The problem is that they are 72cc chambers. Can you guy's give me feedback as to what I can do to get the compression ratio to 9 or 9.5:1? One worry is that with these valves, they may kill the charge velocity. I have a good streetable induction and exhaust system.
Any and all comments or suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken
