Dyno Combo Results

Hi Guys/Gals.

I've been working on a 355 engine and don't know anyone with a dynosim 5, apparently they are pretty accurate.

Would someone be able to run my combo and see what comes up?

350 + .030"
Hyper d-cup piston with .018" dish
Edelbrock E-Tec 170 heads (1.94 intake/ 1.55 exh.)
64 cc- should be 9.0:1
Howard Cam -hyd. retro roller
.525 int/.532 exh.- dur@.050 226/234 -LSA 108
1.5 roller rockers
Edel. airgap intake
Holley 650 dbl. pump
1-5/8" headers

Thats about it, going to be for the street, nothing outrageous.
Wanted something with bottom end to play with.

Couple of things to fix first.
Pistons: If you're talking about KB D-cups, they are 18cc (eighteen cubic centimeters), not 0.018" (eighteen thousandths of an inch).
Howards cam: I can't find this grind. I need to make sure on the LSA in order to figure the valve timing figures to enter into the DynoSim. Most of Howard's cams are ground on a 112 LSA, not 108. I have not seen a Howard's retrofit for a small block with the figures you have shown here. Where did they come from? Can you give me a link?
Carburetor: Why the double pumper? Are you planning to use a loose torque converter? 3000+ stall? Car would make better fuel mileage with a vacuum secondaries carb, would make same top end hp and work better if you're using a converter tighter than 3000.
Intake manifold: Car will make more useable power with a taller intake manifold such as the Edelbrock RPM AirGap Vortec #7516 in the range of 1500-6000.
Do you have any of the parts bought yet?

The cam is #110325 @ 110 LSA, I took wrong info from 110325-08
Called Howard Cams and thats what he said I would like for a heavy car.

Piston is -18cc not .018":o
Double pumper- because thats what I have for now, can always change (easy bolt-on)
Edelbrock RPM AirGap Vortec #7516 to match heads

These parts are already bought and paid for

Edelbrock used these heads with a little different cam and a little more compression to make 435/435.

I always factor the heads by .95 from the published flow numbers, just to try to be more realistic. The hard-core dyno pulls I have been able to simulate come in around 2% plus or minus.
