Seems i had a 6" rod sbc that bumped into the cam about midway in the beam, C&A 100's i believe. With the 5.7 C&A rod it'd clear. You're right about bumping into the bolts. I think Crower changed the centerline or something on the cam to get some clearance at the beam (wish i had that original cam, it didn't have any space between the lobes - very sexy looking).Quote:

Those cams they made like that were very small basecircle--they ground them all the way to to core diameter but of course they could only do it for rollers

It's more like make a plan and try to have some miniscule elements of your original plan in the finished product. Or maybe that's just me....:LOL:

it should fit with a 3.200 stroke and a 1.880 honda or 2.000 rod bearing if not thats what they make a mill for and i would mock it up first any ways , like jerry said they hit on the rod side FORK END were the bolts are not the beam .CROWER did some one SAY CROWER well ok here mine .wish i had the 100.00 dollars all 8 cost me. hey dave i better not say any thing about this street engine 4.610 bore 5.500 crank .TITanium rods 800 lift cam ;)Quote:

the above look like they're about 7 1/2", i don't think they're in a flattie so the deck must be quite aways above the water inlet if i am thinking right. Just something special about the look of professional hardware.

No there titanium not steel and there is no name they call them other then CROWER top of the line and very $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ they are 7.670 .for a 11.500 donovan big chief street engine . lets say i have more then i wish i had in to them after getting them re sprayed and new bolts.... old nova hey i had a gto 66 with some engine set back to :)Quote:

The old Weiand's are way kewl OJH! certainly do have the vintage look!!!! Not much done on anything on the '57 this week, holiday and the Plymouth took priority!!!
How large they gotta be Dave, 7/16 screw in studs with erson roller rockers, they are the MT valve covers only with Holley logo on them, some what vintage.
well they should fit m/t holleys moroso. the old wieands they round at top and may hit the JOMAR bars M/T.holleys .moroso are flat tops so if spring setup is going to be hi that you may need to use a spacers but you have a better chance with out any spacers with the holleysQuote:
