There's an online place called Turbo City that sells a lot of mod parts for stock GM fuel injection. I bought a few things from them when we put EFI in my son's 69 Chevy truck. If you're set on using the stock EFI you may want to check out their site.

I don't think your stock fuel injection will provide those kind of numbers.

I read the link above. The comment I am going to make some will agree and some will not. These magazine test builds have one and only one purpose. To sell products that bought ad's in the magazine.Over the yrs I have had suspicions about hidden facts involving the products that were used.I would guess you do as well asking for advise.Well in part anyways. As a example I think I read the EQ heads are another import where I have researched some to find serious issues for the end user, you.I admit I haven't see much on the EQ's beyond ad's in engine builder.com.But that would make me wait and see what comes out of that. The other big thing from the link I see is you would have to have a bottom end not needing much more than a hone and go.

So guys come on this site and ones like it,to verify results with real street experiences with guys like Pat,Richard,Dave, and Jerry. And justifiable so because of the history of the articles found in the magazines.I would think the four guys I have listed from this site and others too, could generate the same output with any number of combos and at same costs.Their parts build lists, short of having one of them build the engine, are free without any attachments to ads.I is that, makes the suggestions much cleaner deal over a magazines test article.

So here is the bottom line suggestion.Read the supplied links I have left for fuel injections and read between the lines on magazines articles on tests of products picking threw parts to use that have a long term problem free results.
    Good Bye
