Mike,
Why are you concerned? The 267 uses a 350 crank, so the deck height is going to be the same as a 350 SBC. The heads for the 267 are unique to that small bore (3.50") engine, and the compression ratio is going to be low, because these engines were intended to be for economy, but could never meet emissions. Sounds to me like you were sold a pig in a poke, being told you had a 350 and now finding that it's a 267, which not many people even know existed in the SBC lineup - it was the red headed, left handed step child of the time. No one wants a 267, and there's nothing out there to make it a performer. Of course, in a trike I'm not sure how much power you really need.... My advice is don't invest a nickel in the 267. Buy a 350 crate motor of whatever HP you think you can handle on three wheels, and swap out the boat anchor for a decent engine.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
Saw this posted on FB, and thought of posting it on the Joke Page as a Model A Donk, but then thought it's not a joke, it's cool!! -
