Rebuilding a 283
Guys - I made notes on tearing down a '65 Studebaker's 283 engine, but during that process I found a few of the numbers on the piston rods facing opposite the majority. Just so I have this right; the numbers on the rods are on the ODD side of the block, correct? By that I mean where pistons 1, 3, 5 and 7 reside.
Thanks!
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
