I am wondering if there is problem with putting a 94 LT-1 in a 32 coupe without extending the frame. I know that the radiator is a close fit. The water pump is pretty long on the LT-1.

im sure it can be done ,people have done crazier things , unfortunatly ive never done it but im sure someone around here has ,so im sure youll get better answers from them
if it has the pump that you can't bolt a fan to it, it should be shorter i would think. what is the motor out of?Quote:

You didn't say what kind of car you were building, but one thing to consider really even with any '32 is to push the front crossmember forward 1" in the rails - you don't really need to stretch the rails themselves. If the car is full-fendered you can extend the feet on the radiator, and move it forward on the crossmember, leaving the wheelbase stock. It seems like you can never have enough room in that engine compartment.
I am building a 32 high boy . The body is coming from N&N Fiberglass. You said that you have done a few with LT1's , . Would you happen to have a picture of one. I would like to see how you ran the pully set up.
Thanks for the input guys

Hey Angelo, I am putting a LS-6 454 in a Model A with the stock length frame and I will be running into fitment issues. I installed Bitchin's BBC firewall to give me as much room as possible. Good luck with your 32 High Boy build.
