Another 2-tone question?
I didn't want to hi-jack another thread so I would like to get some "opinion's" from the the crew. I have the following two colors of mellohide and have custom mixed paint to match each. I would like some thought's on break-line of the two colors. I don't know if the pics. will post right the first time, but they have a distressed leather look and the carpet is dark green with tan threads.
Jim
P.S. Guess I should let you know I have a '32 hi-boy roadster, chopped windshield and the same headers as iceburgh.Last edited by Old Hippie; 09-18-2006 at 03:25 PM.
Less weight more speed; there's no substitute for cubic inches; If it don't go-chrome it

I would go with a Gold or Silver flake if you want to draw some flare to it.
If trying to stay conservative Black or Grey

Thanks iceburgh for the comments.
I have been looking at pictures of scallops and I think that might be the way I'll go with a paint scheme. I am going to try to do the painting myself and that would be a simple taping job. The paint I had mixed is a 2-part but is flat so I can use on the interior and spray clear over on outside for a shine, sortta like primer before the clear. I am lucky that there is a local upholsterer that is willing to work with me and do some of the sewing and then I can do the install.
Do you like the sound of your exhaust? I haven't started my motor yet but hope it has a nice rumble without being obnoxious. Once again you have a great looking hot rod.

Thanks....to be honest the car is not as loud as I thought it would be with the baffles.
When I 1st started it I had just the headers and it was WAYloud
But now the truck we are building that has a 40 series Flow master on it and headers is louder at idle than my car
