I'd change that windshield also.
Is the location of the posts the same as the lower stanchions of a stock style windshield? The new posts may cover up the old areas....
Cool car - ready for some personality....

WELCOME!!!!! Your roadster looks great! I guarantee you you are going to have FUN with it! I just got mine in August and yesterday I noticed I already put 2000 miles on it! How I did that remains a mystery...
Or maybe it is the "cruise until the wheels fall off" moto I abide by that is catching up with me
visit my site www.myhiboy.com to see my roadster and read about some of the cruises, car show etc we have gone to... I also have a repair log section you might enjoy (might give you some insights on another roadster owner's problems?).
One last thing before I go: YOU CAME TO THE RIGHT FORUM. The deuce den is the bestest place to get help. I speak from experience!!! And everyone here is AWESOME... So welcome and let the fun begin!!
PS: Don't you hate it how we are expected to cough up 30K to 40K for a "home made" car and yet never do get to "really" test drive it? To me that was the most stressful aspect of the purchase!

Welcome to CHR... Very nice looking roadster, judging by the parts on the car it looks like it might have been one of the Fastlane built cars out of Kansas or Missouri... If so you will probably find a few things that you will want to upgrade along the way to personalize the car...

Thanks.. the car did come out of MO, but it is not from FastLane... it was built by an individual, along with his son as a winter project last year and this summer... this is the 4th car they've done... a nice job overall, just a few things i'd like to change/upgrade/fine tune.

You think I could file off the pins and put it on with adhesive or double faced 3M tape? I don't have too much access to the backside of the shell, and don't really want to drill any holes in my shell anyhow... but do think i'd like to put it on, at least for awhile.
Just in case......Happy Birthday Richard. .
