Snowed before you got the little flags up, eh? Now you have to wait till spring to find the coffee cans.
End of Feb - heck, that's just the beginnings of the BIG snows:

After a little snow squall the other day:LOL::LOL; Now, we'll hear from a few that get a real storm
David..................where you live you DESERVE to get snowed on!:)
Up here, many winters we don't get any snow, and when we do it usually happens around year end/year beginning. Rare to have snow this time of year. What makes it most troublesome is that the infrequency breeds ill prepared drivers. Too many possess neither the equipment, skill, nor common sense to handle it properly. (end of rant:cool:)
:LOL:When I had the shop folks would say something like "I'll bet you guys really like it when it snows, it's good for business." My earlier comments not withstanding, I'd reply that no, snow wasn't much of a business stimulator, too many folks stayed home when it snowed............though the few who did venture out were, at best, comical.
But to your comment, I could just about count on the day after the first rain following a dry spell the phone ringing off the hook with prospects. Dummies "forget" that the roads are extra slick til the oil gets washed off.
Ahhhhh yes, the indestructible drivers!!!
I'm about 2-3 miles from I-87, the main road out of Canada (Montreal area, anyhow ) lots of bent and broken cars coming in on a hook when the weather changes, rain or snow. Two hours after the last flake has fallen, clear and totally dry.
What a beautiful place you have IC2
This may look like the same pic I put up on the 24th.................eeehhhh, not! What's that old saying? "In like a lion................" maybe the end of March will be nice.............I hope.:)
Oh come on Uncle Bob,relive your child hood, get out there and play in it.:D
When I was a panelbeater,my personal hate was the rain.....people just couldn't understand why I charged them 4 hours labour to mix a tiny pin hole letting water in.
Today is the first of March which is officially the is the start of autumn, and we are still enjoying good weather which normally lasts until May.
That still screws me up, Your winter is our summer
Robin, what's Squeak doin' with his time since he sold the old shop to Duane?
Not quite sure, but I hear from an old friend who just recently moved back to Bakersfield, that he is still doing a few jobs for old customers..not 100% sure on the whole truth on that, and I dont see Squeak very often..Can you see Squeak NOT tinkering, and helping people out??:D.I can bet he still keeps busy,,both sides of the equator..:D
