    Went to a tiki/rat rod car show yesterday

     



    My brother's waaay into the tiki scene (but not the cars) & there was a car show there too. I'm not into this whole scene- every car I looked at seemed to be a few thousand away from being done IMO ( ) but to each their own. I will say I saw fewer of the butchered unsafe looking rides & more of the safer type builds. You know- they actually had brakes, a seat to sit in.
    However - I saw a few I liked but sadly, they had interiors & shiny paint.

    Nice flathead roadster w/ a Pines Winterfront grille.



    And my favorite- this SoCal built 32, 2 1/2" chop, Buick nailhead, 5 speed
    OMG- it was beautiful!!! He also had a beautiful 40 ford business coupe there- built by SoCal too.
