Went to a tiki/rat rod car show yesterday
My brother's waaay into the tiki scene (but not the cars) & there was a car show there too. I'm not into this whole scene- every car I looked at seemed to be a few thousand away from being done IMO () but to each their own. I will say I saw fewer of the butchered unsafe looking rides & more of the safer type builds. You know- they actually had brakes, a seat to sit in.
However - I saw a few I liked but sadly, they had interiors & shiny paint.
Nice flathead roadster w/ a Pines Winterfront grille.
And my favorite- this SoCal built 32, 2 1/2" chop, Buick nailhead, 5 speed
OMG- it was beautiful!!! He also had a beautiful 40 ford business coupe there- built by SoCal too.

Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
