Question for IC2

I remember that you sanded most of the Brookville primer off your 30-31 A roadster body.

Wondering if you removed some of it with lacquer thinner?

Reason I ask is, I had a magazine page with striping paint on it blow off my impromptu workbench just behind the car and onto the trunk & lower sill area.

Pretty much laid a coat of white One-Shot on it.
I wiped off the trunk right away, but didn't realize the lower sill between the taillights also got a big splotch of white paint.

Couple weeks later I washed that off with lacquer and decided to give washing off the red oxide primer a try as well.
Even with a fresh rag and lacquer thinner, the primer didn't want to come off.
I did soak it pretty good.

Makes me wonder if it's an epoxy primer or an enamel primer.

The body was produced in 2000 and I've always heard that Brookville put lacquer primer on and it washed off easily with lacquer thinner.

Maybe acetone is the next step....
