One of the most treasured options for a deuce is the Pines winterfront. This probably won't surprise many actual deuce owners, but others of you might marvel at just how desireable some folks think these are. Something to keep in mind, this one is incomplete.............

It`s a really cool piece but if they`re so popular why are they not repopped?
Isn't there something like 25 louver hood side panels that bring big money too?

The 25 vent was released on August the 18th, 1932 by Ford Motor Company. It was to be used on V8 equipped vehicles ggoing to warm climates ... to help eliminate the flathead overheating problems. The 25 vent lowers the under hood ambient temperature by as much as 40 degrees.

The difference is easily seen when comparing the two ... :D
The Pines Winter front is much more rare ... and was designed to close up the radiator and help keep the engine HOT and not freezing up ...
a way different purpose than the 25 vent hood.

The most I have seen a 25 vent hood bring was 6 grand on eBay a few months back ... where I have turned down considerably more than that for a Pines Winter Front ... :confused:
Wonder who started that myth that '32 Fords are expensive to build. :eek: :LOL:

Actually, if you do not play " FOLLOW THE LEADER " with the 32 stuff ... 32 Fords are less expensive to build than a lot of the more ' unusual ' out of the mainstream cars.Quote:

I do admit to being " upside down " money wise on my 32 Ford 3W project ... but it is my last build ... I have made no compromises and bought the stuff I thought was the best of the BEST. Because I have not waited and hunted the KILLER deal ... on parts and pieces ... I have been making progress on this coupe a lot faster than any of my previous projects. :rolleyes: I have also hired more help on this coupe ... than other other project :eek:

It is now B L A C K ... all over and I am installing the new glass ... the only major step left is upholstery. I ordered a few leather samples today ...
Still quite a bit short of what I got 4 mine.

Hey Deuce, do you have any pictures of your 3W painted. I've been watching the progress for a while and would like to see it. Very nice.
As for the grill, I'll be remaining a poser if that's what it takes to play. My whole body cost less than that. Someday I'd like to get my hands on a real 3window.

The wheels are now RED and the new tires on, after the driver's side door glass goes in, then I will wire the coupe, charge up the A/C and take the coupe to the upholstery man :D
