"Copper State" Cruiser...back on the street!
This one was just a badly needed repaint, but I like the classic look of it! Next is a '40 coupe that will have some rather unusual flames.
I recently posted for the owner, trying to identify where, and by whom, it was built. All aftermarket parts....chevy power....all Jag suspension....with a ragtop, and some stubborn side curtains that we removed.
We know the pinstriper was from the Minneapolis area, circa '79. Anyone recognize it? The colors were a shade darker the first time around.Last edited by HOTRODPAINT; 06-24-2009 at 06:50 PM.

Thank ya! Not as much "bling" as most jobs, but an interesting look.
This seems to be a good year for street rod projects. Where I normally do 1-2 a year, I have 4-6 more pending.
They are lots of work, and need to be blown apart then reassembled, but I am glad to be working when some guys aren't!

Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
