Thanks, I was trying to get away without drilling a hole in the firewall but I guess there is no way around it. I did see a guy at Cruising the Coast in Panama City that just attached his hood at the front and he said the wind moving over the hood held the back down. I would be afraid that the vibraton and all would scratch the rear of the hood and or the cowl area but I saw no evidence of that on his car. I guess you do whatever works.
