Started on changin the look of mine over the weekend.
Rodwell doin a black top 4 it.
Your upper posts are backwards. I know because I ran around for the longest with mine like that. HAHAHA:whacked:
Yeah Dennie, I know.
After doin a dozen or so, I think I know which way is up.
Just wanted to see how it would look 1 " farther back.:whacked::HMMM:
Was yakkin with Dick and we were thrown it around to do a top a litte lower.
Decided against it and flipped em back to the usual way.:cool::cool:
What are your seats out of, Don? They look to be sitting low, and seem to have pretty good bolsters on the sides of the seat backs.
Ojh, Steve has a small patio out the front of his living room with what we call "French doors that open wide enough to allow the car in so with the help of some well placed ramps and spot on steering, the car can be brought inside. Sadly, the car has been kicked out into the workshop again as he now has a woman living with him and although she is a petrolhead, owns a real nice 66 Mustang, she decided that cars in the living room is just a bit too much, no sense of humour some ladies eh.
Hey DA34GUY Did you build a car for Tin-man?
Not yet
After maaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy emails, even after he got settled in back in AZ and he was supposed to meet me @ the L.A, Roadster.

Thanks for posting, everybody. Great cars!! Okay, now it's time to post photos of wives and girlfriends! Well, perhaps not! LOL!
That's a GREAT pic Joe!
That is a darn beautiful car Joe and I admire the way that, like Don's, the rear tires fit the body swage nicely.
New paint job,

Wow!!! That looks awesome! I love flames.
I've had this car on my mind lately, thinking you sure have been quite.. Now I know why, you were in the garage stuned, wide eyed with your mind screaming COOL as HELL ! Very nice flame job, like the way they were carried onto the top.
Pat and Pepi,,You Guys are too kind!
Thank You.
In my hectic world right now, I had to come back and look at that flame job. All is right in the world right now. That is 1bad32 for sure!
I have had a 34 bumper in my long term parts storage, which is basically in, under, over, in a corner. When I mocked up her truck I had it hung, well dug it out and installed it. I think it makes the truck look more truck like. After I finsih the bed repair I'll shoot some better pics.

I like the bumper. But it clashes against that grille filler...

This is where the truck was born, home grown the best kind. Attachment 55461
So you Built the body?
No Kidding How Cool Would That Be.
I did not form the body from a roll of steel if that's what your asking. The body parts were pressed by some guy named Henry. Acquired cab, bed, 4 doors to make 2, got the hood and grill shell new, the rest I made. Was a 4 year project, would have been done sooner but I was traveling the East coast M-Th. The truck never left the garage from scrap to paint, built by owner and given to my wife. Would I do another yes but I would look for a body without all the problems dents, rust and all that goes along with that. Building the hard parts is much easier then the body work, however I will also say once you get the hang of working with filler it is not all that bad. The painting has two problems, first it goes way to fast for the amount of time spent for prep. Two one really needs the room to paint, as in booth. I created a booth had a 3 ton blower from an AC air handler with a 10 in. duct attached . Piped it into the room, worked extremely well, that thing pulled the over spray out and I got a dirt free paint job
How about your Deuce Henry original , or newly popped
As you can tell from the Picture,Show me Rod and Custom Body (A Guy Named Doug). Just like you I done everything else except for the interior and that's the part I'am not real please with. But I will be taking care of that in about three weeks.
Here's a fun pic of My Ride,,
I've actually never been in the Deuce Den before. Maybe I belong now!?! :3dSMILE:

I think you do. Welcome! Of course, you don't have to own a deuce to be here.
Here is a photo of my '32 that was taken by a fine arts photographer at GoodGuys Des Moines in July 2011. He then used his PhotoShop magic to create this photo.
