Need advice on where to buy 1932 Ford 5 window top wood. I have an original body and the perimeter wood is in good shape, but the bows and dome light wood need to be replaced. Can some of you recommend a supplier that makes quality replacements within a reasonable timeline for delivery? Thanks in advance.

Not sure if there are others, but I've seen a place called Ford Wood mentioned when folks are working on original iron, or even the re-pop steel bodies. Looks like they sell individual pieces or a kit - 1932 Five Window Wood and main page, http://fordwood.com/
Thanks for the reply. Yes, my dad bought the car in 1958 when I was 12. I had the car pieced together and primed on a roller chassis this past summer when my dad and mom passed away. I hate that he didn't get to ride in it. I am determined to finish it. I have two very small grandsons and the oldest boy's first two word sentence was "hot rod". Both made the Fort Worth Goodguys show with me this weekend. It was a blast for me!
I would henceforth be calling my grandson "hot rod" after that. That would be a good nickname for him. He's my little buddy. Had a toy car in each hand most of the day. Thanks for the suggestion. Anyone else have suggestions on wood suppliers.

Even Speedway lists a kit. Heard good things about Spadaro, too. Be sure to look at the ads to the right - one is from SoCal Speedshop, and you can't go wrong there. Good luck on your search! We'd love to see some pictures of the deuce when you have time.
Thanks Roger. I will look through these. I think the problem will be finding a supplier that will sell the pieces separate. I think Fordwood does. Spadaro's suppliers will will only sell complete kits. I may have to go with a complete kit.
I wanted to post where I was able to get my top wood so that others might get theirs also. Steve of "Steve Canton Classic Wood" in North Carolina (336-691-1344) gave me a date I should receive my wood and shipped early. It is absolutely immaculate wood work. I couldn't have asked for better. Expect to be placed on a waiting list, as he is behind, but the wait should be well worth it. Hope this helps someone.
