After paintin hot rods and dailys for over 45 years, and tired of sandin louvers and wanting sumthin different on the new roadster.
Remembered I had 2 left over 56 buick portholes from a build about 7 years ago.
So after a little measurin and whittiling, stuffed these in the flat hood sides of the Green (soon 2B Black) roadster
I'm glad to see someone else is tired of something on cars. I'm waaaaaaaay tired of chopped tops and lowered cars that can't negotiate over a manhole cover. It's just stupid.

With you on the louvers, I think they had their day back in the '50s. And as for the super low cars, well I just don't get that at all. At least we have laws about that here in Canada.
Yeah I've seen guys lower there rucks to the point they are use less as trucks and ride like rocks
I don't consider super low ones even cars.
if it can't be driven to the store or the bank etc
it isn't a car.
if a drive thru burger joint defeats it.
what's the point?

Those holes look great! Is there a decent source for these if a guy doesn't have any? I like the lowered rides, but the ones that aren't air or adjustable are pretty pointless IMO. I want my 40 low, but drivable low. (If that is possible) :LOL:

Buick portholes are a nice, clean look. The single looks great, but I also like the staggered stack on the orange coupe, too. Lots of creative options with portholes!
Good call on the Buick portholes. I've been eyeing those up for a while.
